Every card gets a full entry. Here's an example from the guidebook.
The First Split. The signal that begins. The decision that turns potential into action.
Before: The first mansion marks the horns of Aries, the start of the zodiacal year. In the Picatrix, Al-Sharatain is invoked for beginnings, for journeys, for the destruction of enemies through the power of first action. The Arabic name means 'the Two Signs', the twin stars of Beta and Gamma Arietis, the first visible markers of the ecliptic's start.
Current: The biological equivalent is the moment of ovulation, the single decision the body makes to release a cell, initiating a potential new cycle. In neuroscience, the first action potential firing in a decision, the threshold crossing that commits the neuron.
Upright: The time has come to begin. You have been waiting for conditions to be perfect. They will never be perfect. This card signals that the decision itself is the catalyst. Courage is not the absence of fear; it is the first step taken despite fear.
Reversed: False starts. You begin and stop, begin and stop, burning initiation energy without completing the arc. Or worse, you refuse to decide at all, waiting for a sign that has already arrived.
The Carrier: The first cell that divided, the primordial mitosis that initiated all complex life.
The Instruction: Begin. The conditions will never be perfect. The sign you are waiting for is this card.
Center: The card that IS you.
Above: What's flowing in.
Below: What's flowing out.
Left: The block.
Right: The release.
Crown: The lunar influence.
Root: The solar instruction.
A 3×3 grid. Each row and column is read. Intersections reveal how bands interact. The deck is not what card you draw — it's what card touches what.
